From LSU to “I Do”
Anna and Wyatt's love story began in Baton Rouge while attending LSU, and their chemistry has been magnetic ever since. Wyatt is laid-back, funny, and quietly confident; Anna is a firecracker—outgoing, full of energy, and always the life of the party. Together, they’re unstoppable. Their wedding day was the perfect blend of their personalities: grounded in faith, overflowing with fun, and elegant.

A New Orleans Wedding Day Blessed with Sunshine
After days of downpours leading up to the weekend, the skies cleared and the sun came out just in time for this spring celebration. The morning kicked off at Long Vue House & Gardens where Anna and her bridesmaids got ready among blooming gardens and historic architecture. Meanwhile, Wyatt and the groomsmen headed to City Park New Orleans, where they took photos beneath the towering oaks—such a classic New Orleans setting.
A Ceremony Steeped in Faith
Anna and Wyatt chose to exchange vows in a traditional Catholic Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, the parish they attend and a place close to Wyatt’s heart, as it’s where he went to school growing up. The church’s stunning architecture, paired with the meaningful service, made this ceremony feel deeply personal and sacred.
Effortless Style Meets Southern Charm in City Park
Anna stunned in a Martina Liana gown from Town & Country Bridal , with delicate spaghetti straps, a sleek square neckline, and a dramatic bow detail on the back. Wyatt and his groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos from John’s Tuxedos, and the bridesmaids glowed in terra cotta Jenny Yoo gowns from Bella Bridesmaids —a warm, earthy contrast to the springy palette of ivory, sage green, and soft peach.
Details That Felt Like Them
With a donut-shaped groom’s cake (a nod to Wyatt’s love of donuts!) by Swiss Confectionery, the reception was full of thoughtful, personalized touches. The couple’s guest book was a scrapbook where guests could take Polaroids and paste them into a book with their personalized well wishes—equal parts fun and sentimental.
The reception at Pavillion of The Two Sisters was styled with bud vases, soft floral arrangements from Leaf & Petal, and glowing candlelight. A black and white checkered dance floor from Perrier Party Rentals anchored the space, and outside, floral meadow arrangements and candles framed the courtyard fountain for the perfect touch of romance.
Mother-Daughter Moments & Louisiana Wedding Traditions
Since the wedding fell near Mother’s Day, Anna and her mom shared a sweet mother-daughter dance to “My Girl” by The Temptations. Halfway through, the band invited all mothers and daughters to join—a moment that had the whole room teary-eyed (including me!). And believe it or not, Groovy7—the band that brought the energy all night long—was a last-minute save after the original band double-booked. Everything happens for a reason, and the dance floor was proof.
The bridesmaids also took part in a classic New Orleans tradition: cake pulls, each one revealing a charm and a little dose of wedding-day magic.
Sweet Endings & Even Sweeter Memories
As the night came to a close, guests left with personalized macarons from Izzy Macarons—a thoughtful and delicious reminder of the day. The Polaroid guest book quickly filled with candid snapshots and handwritten notes, capturing the energy and joy in real time.
For their grand exit, Anna and Wyatt walked through a sea of bubbles, surrounded by cheers, laughter, and love. Waiting at the curb? A vintage Rolls-Royce, courtesy of Limousine Livery, ready to whisk them away into newlywed bliss. It was the perfect sendoff to a day filled with faith, fun, and unforgettable moments.
